Catalog description

Prerequisites: Satisfactory completion of the first year biomedical sciences core curriculum, or permission of the course director. Integrative study of the cardiovascular system and how drugs are used to treat cardiovascular disease. Cardiac, vascular and renal physiology will be studied in detail, and also will be integrated into an overall scheme for control of the circulation. The use of drugs as cardiovascular research tools also will be interwoven into this approach. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
