Medicine Off-Campus Externship (4 to 8 Credit Hours)

Catalog description

Special arrangements can be made for elective periods of one month in the Department of Medicine at other medical schools and teaching institutions. These electives can be spent in general internal medicine or medical subspecialties. The following must accompany the green sheet: written statement accepting student to do elective including description of the content of the elective and name of preceptor responsible for evaluation. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to 3 times.
