Catalog description

In this course, students will be placed on a working film or television production to participate in a guided experience in the operations and essential functions of an industry craft in a professional environment. Students will be assigned to appropriate opportunities offered by professional film and television productions or affiliated vendor companies to practice and enhance their skills in the designated department through practical experience. Students will be permitted to express their preferences for specific departments, pending availability. Students will be exposed to the unique and specialized knowledge, skills and resources for their designated department, and will also have opportunities to network and develop resumes. Prerequisite(s): GFA 1000 >= B and ( GFA 2010 >= B or GFA 2020 >= B or GFA 2030 >= B or GFA 2040 >= B or GFA 2050 >= B or GFA 2060 >= B or GFA 3010 >= B or GFA 3020 >= B or GFA 3040 >= B) Lecture Hours: 6 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
