Catalog description

An introduction to the practice of rigging and supporting grip equipment for lighting, cameras, dollies, vehicles, and other physical/mechanical devices. The course also explores the mindset required to be a safe and effective grip on a film set and will illuminate the thought processes needed to interpret artistic ideals into actionable tasks. Prerequisite(s): GFA 1000 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
