Catalog description
This course will provide bioethics graduate certificate candidates with a practical experience in learning and practicing bioethics. Students will read sentinel papers from the primary literature in bioethics, discuss clinical cases with ethical dilemmas in small groups, participate in ethics consults and end of life conversations with consultants and teach learned ethical topics to fellow students. Prerequisite(s): PHIL 5004 Lecture Hours: 7 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to two times.
