Advanced Fiction Workshop

Catalog description

An intensive practicum in the craft of writing fiction. Students will write and share original works composed in various fiction genres (literary, magic realism, horror, sci-fi, and fantasy). There will be substantial reading and critique of both published and peer work. Through an exploration of process, style, and technique, students will cultivate a sustainable writing practice and original voice. Prerequisite(s): ( ENGL 1101 >= C or ENGL 1101H >= C) and ( ENGL 1102 >= C or ENGL 1102H >= C) and ENGL 2110 >= C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
