Catalog description
An introduction to the fundamental features of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction and drama. Students will read a variety of genres and styles and practice techniques to generate original pieces. This course offers a basis for deeper study in creative writing and develops storytelling skills for writing-focused professions. Prerequisite(s): ( ENGL 1101 >= C or ENGL 1101H >= C) and ( ENGL 1102 >= C or ENGL 1102H >= C) Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
