Elementary Social Studies Education

Catalog description

This course is designed for students to develop an understanding of the disciplines in Social Studies with an emphasis on history, civics and government, geography, and economics concepts appropriate for the elementary grades. Emphasis will be placed on active learning, critical thinking, and developmentally appropriate practices. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
