For teachers across grade levels and subject areas, this course examines theories of child and adolescent development. Emphasis is placed on understanding how health, relationships, and family contexts influence student learning and engagement. The course prepares educators to respond to student questions with accuracy and incorporate developmentally appropriate perspectives into curriculum. Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
