Catalog description

This course is designed to teach educators how to assess what goes on in classrooms where reading and writing for real purposes is the norm. It will involve study of the evolution of literacy assessment from standardized tests to informal tests to criterion-referenced tests and authentic assessment. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
