Catalog description

Intended to provide educators with a deep and broad knowledge of content, pedagogy, and implementation related to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The course will prepare educators to effectively integrate PBIS into their own classroom management practices. This course will focus on the foundations of research based effective management practices such as building strong teacher/student relationships, strategies to creating an effective positive learning environment, and proactive management strategies. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
