ESOL Methods, Materials, and Assessment in Content Classrooms

Catalog description
This course provides an understanding of research, theory, methods, assessments, and materials for teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in grades P-12. This course is one of three required courses for the ESOL Endorsement. Students are required to recruit and work with one or more P-12 students who are learning English as an additional language for the completion of a 25-hour field experience. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
