This course is for middle grades and secondary teachers. The course examines best practices in mathematics education and theory and research, which supports such practices. These best “practices” are drawn from the literature and actual classroom practice. A 25-hour field experience in P-12 is required for this course. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
