Catalog description

This course focuses on helping teachers learn the basic development and integration of skills in the areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking as well as how to effectively implement these skills in the classroom. Topics such as spelling, grammar, speaking and writing process are also addressed along with practice in informal, formal, and authentic assessment. A 25-hour field experience in P-12 is required for this course. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
