Catalog description
In this course, students will demonstrate abilities to analyze and apply models of instructional approaches and assessment in English language arts, particularly related to literature, reading and writing skills, and language development. Students will develop skills necessary to plan instructional units and lessons that meet all learners’ needs. A field experience component is required in a middle or secondary grade level within a local school system that aligns with the student’s program of study. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
