Catalog description

This course will examine principles and strategies of effective classroom assessment techniques as well as methods for using assessment to inform instruction in a differentiated adolescent classroom setting. A special focus will be placed on meeting the needs of all learners. A 25-hour field experience component is required in a middle or secondary grade level within a local school system that aligns with the student’s program of study. Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 2 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
