Catalog description
This course prepares educational leaders to analyze school context, organize people and resources, and foster a positive learning environment that advances achievement for all students. Emphasis is placed on collaborative problem solving with teachers, staff, families, and community partners, as well as aligning school culture, instruction, and operations to support continuous improvement. Candidates engage in evidence-based decision making, leadership of team routines, and constructive partnerships. Performance-based clinical exercises, assessments, and field experiences are integral to the course. Lecture Hours: 2 Contact Hours: 2 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
