Catalog description

This course is designed to develop a foundation for students to use statistics as a tool to analyze and interpret data in applied research settings. This course focuses on descriptive and inferential statistics relevant to educational data including: frequency distributions, central tendency, variability, correlations, bivariate linear regression, and hypotheses testing via t-test, chi-square, and analysis of variance. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 7021 >= B or EDEI 8020 >= B Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
