Catalog description

Immerses students into published clinical dental research. Each semester focuses on a particular clinical study design. Reading assignments are assigned weekly. Mentored group discussions aid student understanding of the methods, advantages, limitations, and implications of investigational methodology using relevant clinical dental examples. Students are expected to read the assigned papers and participate in the group discussion. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit.
