This course will include an investigation of new healthcare reform affecting dentistry, access to care issues, alternative careers for dental hygienists, current and proposed workforce models, impact of state rules and laws on dental hygiene practice, interprofessional involvement in providing dental care, and other ethics/professional matters. Lecture Hours: 5 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit one time.
