Dental Hygiene Case Management

Catalog description

In professional practice, registered dental hygienists encounter several patient management issues. This course will allow dental hygienists to think more critically about the components involved in developing advanced care plans. Clinicians will synthesize prior knowledge of the dental hygiene process of care to address issues such as patient education, prescribed care, and insurance-based care as they relate to advanced care plans. Learning activities will include case presentation of involved dental hygiene care plans. Lecture Hours: 5 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit one time.
