Catalog description
This course is a continuation of patient care experiences in dental hygiene clinics. Upon completion, the student clinician will be knowledgeable in both basic and advanced patient care procedures. The student will be able to assess each patient’s oral health status, develop thorough problem lists and dental hygiene care plans based on this assessment, and then provide comprehensive dental hygiene patient care. Students will gain experience, confidence, and enhance clinical judgment skills. Prerequisite(s): DHYG 3230 >= I Lab Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
