Dermatology Externship (4 to 8 Credit Hours)

Catalog description

One month clerkship experience on the Dermatology service. Students will see inpatients and outpatients at the MCG Hospital and Clinics and also outpatients at Dermatology clinics at Fort Gordon and VA Hospitals. Students participate in Dermatopathology Conferences, Journal Clubs, and Basic Science Seminars. Supervision will be provided by the full time staff and clinical faculty of the Section of Dermatology and the Dermatology house staff. Lecture Hours: 10 Contact Hours: 40 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
