Scripting and Automation for Cybersecurity

Catalog description

This course provides students with the basic ability to create simple scripts/programs to automate and perform security operations, and to provide students with the skills necessary to implement algorithms using programming languages to solve problems. Special emphasis is placed on scripts related to attacking and defending, which includes basic security practices in developing scripts/programs. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
