Research Exposure

Catalog description

Presentations of selected recent research results. Students do required readings related to a presentation prior to the class and write a critical summary. Guest speakers and participants deliver the presentations. Every student conducts a thorough survey of one chosen topic of interest and writes a paper analyzing the current state-of-the-art and identifying directions for future work. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to six times.
