Catalog description

The course covers formal methods theory and practice, in particular as applied to the specification and verification of software. The objective is to cover the current state of the art in formal methods theory and practice, and to impart, through intensive problem solving and hands-on work, competence and fluency in the use of formal methods to specify and analyze the behavior of large complex software systems. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit one time.
