Catalog description

Design of a modern operating system is presented as a collection of modules providing disparate functionality. The techniques underlying these modules are presented and different methods are compared and contrasted. Students get experience implementing programs that implement these modules or involve interaction with low-level software. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
