Advanced programming techniques using concepts from data structures and algorithms. Implementation of basic data structures such as lists, stacks, queues, trees, hash tables, heaps, and graphs. Asymptotic and amortized performance analysis, and correctness proofs of algorithms. Advanced algorithm design, greedy algorithms and dynamic programming. Prerequisite(s): CSCI 5001 >= C Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
