Catalog description

This course explores microcontroller design, embedded systems, and programmable logic devices (FPGAs). Hardware reverse engineering is introduced. Industrial Control Systems are examined as an implementation of embedded systems. There is a lab component to the course. Prerequisite(s): CSCI 3170 >= C or PHYS 3012 >= C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
