Catalog description
An introduction to cyber crime from a criminological perspective. This course will cover the history of computer based crime; the legal, social, and technical impact of cybercrime; and the types of crimes committed with the assistance of a computer. Additional topics include investigating and policing the cyber world, punishment and jurisdiction issues, and victimization. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
