Catalog description
A thorough study of the rules of evidence with specific emphasis on the application of these rules in preparing reports and presenting evidence in the criminal justice system. This will include a history and development of evidentiary rules, both federal and state, including substitutes and general admissibility tests. Study of testimonial documentary, real (physical) evidence and exclusion of evidence based on constitutional requirements. Prerequisite(s): CRJU 1103 >= C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
