Comprehensive Assessment in Counseling

Catalog description
This course will introduce the use of comprehensive assessment in counseling. Students will become familiar with various approaches used when conducting comprehensive assessments including, but not limited to- standardized tests, projective methods, self-report, behavioral observation, and clinical interviews. Students will also learn how to select, administer, score, interpret, report, and utilize assessment data in a variety of counseling settings. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
