Alternating Cooperative Education

Catalog description

Student participate in a Co-op work experience related to their field of study and alternate between semesters of full-time work and enrollment in full-time school. Registration for this course during work semesters is equivalent to full-time student status. Alternating positions require a minimum of two work terms. Prerequisite(s): Minimum overall GPA (cumulative or adjusted) of 2.5, a declared major, with at least 24 credit hours complete toward a baccalaureate degree or one full semester (9 hours) toward a master’s degree or post-baccalaureate work. Approval from the Career Services Office is required. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit.
