Introduction to the study of first amendment law and its associated areas that are relevant to communications professionals, including public relations, advertising, broadcasting, freedom of information, libel, privacy, and intellectual property. Consideration is also given to ethical concerns arising within these areas. Prerequisite(s): COMM3000 >= C and COMM3010 >= C and COMM3020 >= C and (COMM3030 >= C or COMM3300 >= C) Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
