Catalog description
This course is intended for graduate students who completed an appropriate advanced medicinal chemistry course as an undergraduate. This course reviews chemical interactions of major drug classes including bioavailability, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacokinetics. An emphasis of the course is the use of the chemical literature to understand drug classes and the relationship of drugs and drug classes to chemical structure. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 6620 or CHEM 4620 Cross-Listed Course(s): BIOL 6623 Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
