Catalog description

A study of the chemical interactions of the major drug classes, including those derived from natural products, with the drug targets. Drug uptake, distribution, metabolism and toxicity for the major drug classes is also studied. Students enrolled for graduate credit will be required to review scientific literature and case studies related to the course topics. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
