An introduction to nuclear models and structure, natural and artificial radioactivity, interactions of radiation with matter, nuclear reactions, neutron physics and reactors. Credit may not be earned for both CHEM 3000 and PHYS 3000 . Prerequisite(s): ( MATH 2011 >= C or MATH 2011H >= C) and ( PHYS 1112 >= C or PHYS 2212 >= C) Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
