Catalog description

Second course in a sequence for science majors. Topics include: solutions, acid-base, colligative properties, equilibrium, electrochemistry, kinetics, and descriptive chemistry. Students may not apply both CHEM 1151 and CHEM 1211 to satisfy Core IMPACTS (Technology, Mathematics and Sciences; or Social Sciences) requirements. Prerequisites include meeting the departmental standard on the national ACS exam. This is an Honors course. STEM GPA Eligible Course.
