Catalog description

An introduction to chemistry and its subdisciplines. Major concepts and perspectives will be introduced through projects and case studies that illustrate the utility and role of chemistry both in modern times and in the past. Additional topics shall include scientific ethics and careers in chemistry. Students will be introduced to the tools of library research. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
