Catalog description
This course requires permanent assignment to a specific lab with a faculty advisor and a defined research project. Students work under the mentorship of their faculty thesis advisor to define, develop, and carry out the basic study of a research problem of interest to both student and advisor. This course is designed to develop the experience, understanding, and skills to conduct and assess original, independent research in biomedical science. This course is typically taken more than one time and culminates in the final semester in the preparation and defense of a MS thesis. Lab Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit.
