Creative Practices in Printmaking

Catalog description
Students create works in print media expressing a historical, philosophical, and technical understanding of the medium. Students learn techniques in printmaking and develop strategies to implement or modify these techniques to create their own body of work. Through written reviews, students articulate an understanding of critical and aesthetic writings related to the evolution of print practices. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to two times.
