This course examines how artists have adopted emerging technologies—including film, photography, multimedia performance, the Internet, video games, A.I., and more—to reshape creative practice and expand the experience of art in the 21st century. The course embeds critical analysis of new media within diverse art-historical and theoretical frameworks.
