An introduction to the principles, processes, and tools of graphic design. Students explore visual communication through research, concept development, and application of design fundamentals. Projects emphasize typography, imagemaking, and layout as students learn to plan, analyze, and create solutions to communication challenges. Focus is placed on developing technical proficiency, critical thinking, and a foundation for professional design practice.
