This course will introduce students to the theories and methods used by modern archaeologists to investigate and understand the past. Prehistoric and historic examples will be used to illustrate how archaeologists use artifacts and other data to interpret the past. Students will be encouraged to think critically about the use of archaeological data and the interpretations of the past it produces. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
