Catalog description

In this course, students will explore how statistical methods are used to conduct quantitative analysis in anthropology. Students will gain skills in properly entering data and running exploratory analysis. Additionally, students will engage with more advanced quantitative analytical methods that are commonly employed in the social sciences. Statistical analysis will be conducted with the aid of a computer. Excel and SPSS will be used for quantitative analysis. Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Other Hours: 0 Contact Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
