Catalog description

By investigating what is culture and how culture influences our lives, students will gain an appreciation and understanding of the differences and similarities in diverse societies including their own. Students will learn how to view other societies holistically, comparatively, and to see things from others’ point of view. By gaining an appreciation of cultural differences, students in this class will also be more knowledgeable and better prepared for future multicultural experiences. This is an Honors Course. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
