Catalog description

This course will expose graduate students in the department to cutting edge research topics in the field of Cellular Biology. There will be two student-led lectures and discussions each month on a current and/or fundamental topic in cellular biology, including a background discussion on the topic, a discussion of the major research findings, and a discussion of the main conclusions of the paper. This course will help students develop their skills in reading reasearch literature critically and preparing a comprehensive discussion of the paper to their colleagues. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May be repeated for credit.
