Catalog description

Prerequisites: Satisfactory completion of the first year biomedical sciences core curriculum, or permission of the course director. This introductory course covers the fundamentals of the visual system including anatomy and development of the eye, biochemistry, cell biology and physiology of vision, general and ocular pharmacology, immunology and overview of pathology of the eye. This course is team-taught by MCG Vision Discovery Institute faculty. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
