Teaching Practicum in Molecular Cell Biology

Catalog description

Mentored practical experience in teaching cell biology at PhD level. Students are assigned to one of four modules in this course on a first-come, first-served basis. Practicum students attend lectures, work with the Course Director toward preparation and quality improvement of the lectures and exams, and tutor and deliver review instruction to first-year PhD students who are enrolled in the course. Consolidates knowledge of fundamental cell biology toward achieving future career goals. Prerequisite(s): BIOM 8022 >= B Repeatability: May be repeated for credit up to 2 times.
