Advanced Strategies in Anatomical Education

Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare graduate students and early-career professionals for teaching-focused academic careers in anatomy and medical education. Participants will engage in activities that support the development of a comprehensive teaching philosophy, the construction of a curriculum vitae tailored to teaching-centered positions, and the refinement of academic interview skills. Emphasis will be placed on exploring current trends and innovations in anatomy education, as well as foundational principles and methodologies in education research. Through critical reading, reflective writing, and guided discussions, students will gain the tools necessary to evaluate educational literature, formulate research questions, and position themselves as scholarly educators in the evolving landscape of health sciences education.
